Hey everybody, thanks for sticking with us! We are back from Tuesday 28th onwards ready to serve all your sewing needs. We shall be taking orders by phone, by email, or through our new online store - www.sewstore.co.nz ! Yes - it is now live and working! I am constantly adding product though, so if you do not yet find what you are looking for, please either ring 578 7801 during shop hours or email anna@thesewingstore.co.nz and we will find a solution.
Alterations during Level 3
We will be able to resume our alterations service in a limited capacity. We will be providing the following services:
- Hems of all kinds (Trousers, Dresses, Skirts, Tops, Jeans, Original hems, false hems, sleeves...)
- Zip Replacements
- Repairs
Prerequisite for completing the work is having clear instructions from you. We will gladly talk you through how to correctly pin or mark your items. Please call 578 7801 or email anna@thesewingstore.co.nz to arrange drop off and pick up.
Contactless Pick Up
We are offering a contactless 'Pick up at Store' option for all purchases. Please understand that we are all required to keep a 2 metre distance from each other. We may be able to offer local deliveries if you are unable to pick up. Alternatively we can courier to you.
BERNINA Welcome Back Sale
Beginning Tuesday 28th April BERNINA and bernette are on SALE - YAY! There are specials on almost all machines, and accessories are 20% off, so a great time to buy. Machines can be couriered straight to your door, and we can run lessons via FaceTime or Zoom or quite traditionally just over the phone! Again, just call or email your questions.
We hope you have found a little time even to enjoy the past few weeks - it has been a strange, surreal, sometimes stressful, but sometimes peaceful time... the roads have been noticably empty when we have been out for walks. Fingers crossed the hard work is behind us, and we are able to gradually, and smoothly move out of the alert system.
We are certainly looking forward to seeing you all again in person!
